My Turn To Win 2007 Demo
A lot of things can be said for a band that plays as much as possible and tries to get out of town as much as possible. Being a former critic of the band its ironic to say the least that I am heralding these guys as the band to watch in 2008. Some bands get together and fly right out of the gate instantly ahead of the pack. MTTW is not one of these bands, instead taking 2 years to get out of Philadelphia, travel as far as they could and hone their live set to the masses. The progress made in 2 years is monumental. It sounds like a silly adjective but this demo screams of Confidence, which is something that can only be gained from a veteran act. Not trying to steal the shine off of any of the leading acts in hardcore today, My Turn To Win wields a mighty arsenal to get your feet off the ground and your body moving. The intensity of the verses are broken up by awesome gang vocals and the overall song structures are energetic and short enough to not beat a dead horse. In general there isn’t anything to really critique here, we’re looking at the blueprints of bigger things from them in the future.

	I'm really into this demo, each time I listen to it, I wonder why Im not listening to it more.
